Cesari De Maria Sandra

Sandra Cesari de Maria has a Msc degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and a PhD in Technological Innovation for Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences from Università degli Studi di Milano.


After some years of research on agricultural water management carried out in Italy and Australia, she completed an International Full Time MBA at POLIMI GSOM – Politecnico di Milano to complement her background with business and management skills.

She is now a research fellow of the Food Sustainability Lab, where she is currently involved in a European project to rebalance agri-food value chains.

Her main research interest is focused on data-driven innovations for the agri-food sector.
