Emilio Moretti is an Assistant professor at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, where he obtained his PhD in 2022.

He is a member of the Logistics research group and a senior researcher in the Observatory on Contract Logistics "Gino Marchet".

His research focuses on the development and application of data-driven approaches to support the design and management of logistics systems.

Research

Emilio Moretti obtained his PhD with a dissertation on the design and management of mass-customized factory logistics systems in the 4.0 technological landscape. His other research areas include the application of automated technologies in warehouses and the design of global distribution networks. Recently, his research focuses on the development and application of data-driven approaches to support the design and management of logistics systems.
