Professore Ordinario
Federico Caniato is Full Professor of Supply Chain and Procurement Management at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano.
He is the Delegate for Lifelong Learning of the Rector of Politecnico di Milano.
He is the director of the International Master in Digital Supply Chain Management and the Executive Program in Supply Chain Management of Polimi Graduate School of Management.
He authored more than 100 international publications on various Operations and Supply Chain Management journals, and he is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Operations & Production Management and the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.

Ricerca
The research interests of Federico Caniato are in the fields of Supply Chain and Procurement Management, in the last years he focused on Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Sustainability and Supply Chain Resilience. He focused in particular on the Food and Fashion industries.
He is the director of the Supply Chain Finance Observatory, the leading research initiative in Italy on the topic, in close collaboration with the international Supply Chain Finance Community. He is also one of the directors of the Food Sustainability Observatory.
