Associate Professor
Sara Perotti, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Logistics at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, where she holds the chair of Industrial Logistics, Green Logistics, and Production Systems. She is a member of the Faculty at the Graduate School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, and Co-Director of the International Master in Digital Supply Chain Management: Operations, Procurement and Logistics. She leads the Logistics Real Estate & Intralogistics Working Group within the “Gino Marchet” Contract Logistics Observatory at Politecnico di Milano School of Management. She collaborates with leading companies and research centers both in Italy and internationally. She Board Member of the Italian Association of Industrial Plant Engineering Professors (AIDI) and is a member of the IFAC TC 5.2 "Management and Control in Manufacturing and Logistics". Member of the Editorial Board of international scientific journals, she is the author of numerous national and international publications on logistics topics.

Research
Her primary research interests are focused on Logistics and Warehousing. Specifically, her main areas of investigation include: Sustainable Logistics and Warehousing, with a focus on Energy Efficiency and Human Centricity; Material Handling System Design and Management, with particular attention to automated systems and Digital technologies supporting Logistics.
