Hussain Dehbozorgi is a first PhD Candidate at the Manufacturing Group in the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering in 2020 and a master's degree in management engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2024. His master's thesis focused on Bridging the Skill Gap in Engineering Education and Designing Learning Factories for Industry 4.0 and 5.0. Before starting his PhD, he worked at the MADE Competence Center as a Junior Project Manager on various EU-funded projects as well as organized workshops for multiple events.

Currently, his PhD focuses on the Design and adoption of Teaching Factories, Learning Spaces and Learning Activities for fostering the education of a responsible generation of engineers and technical students. He is also involved in Horizon Europe Projects such as SKillAIbility that aims to drive inclusivity, and sustainability in manufacturing through human-AI collaboration, and DE4Human that deals with providing training to help enhance human-centric factories by leveraging traditional manufacturing and digital methods.
