Bartolomucci Federico

Researcher

Junior Assistant Professor in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, where he conducts research within the TIRESIA Research group. His areas of expertise are social innovation ecosystems, social impact measurement, and data in the social economy. His research is currently focusing on the intersection of cross-sectoral partnerships, innovation ecosystems, and data. He has been co-chair of the Special Group created by the EU Commission on the Code of Conduct for Data Sharing and Use in the Social Economy. He has been a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research, “FintechforGood: unveiling social value creation in the fintech sector,” has been awarded by the European Microcredit Network with the 2022 Best Research Award.

My research focuses on collaborative innovation governance, with a particular emphasis on technological innovation and its societal impacts. A second strand of my work explores the use of data within the social economy, examining how data-driven forms of innovation can generate positive social outcomes
