Alessia Bilancia is a PhD candidate at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

She is a member of the Lean Excellence Center and she supports teaching activities for the Innovation in Action Lab course.

Her research focuses on the application of Operational Excellence practices to promote Sustainability in the production processes of Luxury Fashion industries. Her work includes the development of case studies and surveys in collaboration with companies in the textile and clothing sectors.

Alessia is currently completing a visiting period at INSEAD Business School, where she is further exploring her research topics.
