The event “Rethinking Digital Sustainability in Education: from awareness to action” brings together academics, practitioners, and sustainability experts to explore the environmental implications of digitalization in higher education.

Hosted at Politecnico di Milano, the event will present the key results of the GreenDiLT project and discuss both the opportunities and challenges of digitalization and AI in education.

Through presentations, case studies, and an interactive roundtable, participants will reflect on how to measure and reduce the environmental footprint of digital teaching and learning, and identify practical strategies to support a more sustainable digital transition in universities.

During the event, a dedicated collection point will also be available for the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (wee) and batteries, encouraging participants to take concrete action.
