The Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano is hosting a day for businesses, professionals, innovators, institutions and academics focused on artificial intelligence, technological and digital innovation, and their impact on production, organizational, social and institutional contexts.
The initiative focuses on how research and businesses can design, adopt and govern AI technologies and solutions in a sustainable, inclusive way, considering people’s well-being.
The event will open with a keynote speech by Padre Paolo Benanti, a leading figure in the international debate on ethics, artificial intelligence and responsible innovation.
The programme includes a round table with companies and institutions, six parallel workshops dedicated to projects developed with pioneering innovation companies, visits to the labs, networking opportunities and one-to-one meetings with research teams.
A key feature of the day will be the direct involvement of the Department’s three research assets: the Marco Garetti Laboratory, specialized in Industry 4.0 technologies and Human-Centric Manufacturing; BRIEL - Behavioral Research in Immersive Environment Lab, focused on behavioural research in immersive and controlled environments; and DataHub Lab, a computing infrastructure supporting advanced research.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to visit the laboratories and explore the application potential of the research infrastructures. Slots will also be available for one-to-one meetings, designed to promote dialogue and discussion between research teams and companies, professionals, and stakeholders interested in developing collaborations.
