The Master of Science in Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano achieved an extraordinary result in the latest Financial Times Masters in Management rankings, advancing to 51st place globally and 42nd in Europe. It jumped 13 places to 51st globally (42nd in Europe) compared to 2024.

This is a historic leap forward for the university's Master's in Management programme, which has never before achieved such significant growth from one year to the next.

The Financial Times ranking evaluates the best management programmes internationally according to criteria such as career progression, continuing education, graduate salaries, environmental sustainability, diversity and the international experience offered by the programme.

The strengths that emerged in the 2025 edition

Rank of careers service: improved from 59th to 34th place, reflecting the growing recognition of the support provided to students for recruitment.

Alumni network ranking: improved from 82nd to 54th place, reflecting an increasingly active alumni network that creates career opportunities, start-ups, idea sharing and networking.

• Employment at three months: increased from 92% to 96%, which is a key indicator of the effectiveness of the educational programme.

Carbon footprint ranking: an exceptional result, with the school rising from 43rd to 4th place out of 100 thanks to its strong commitment to environmental sustainability and transparency in emissions reporting.

• Weighted salary: the average salary three years after graduation is on the rise, increasing from $66,997 to $72,682.

• Diversity: a positive trend in all indicators except “International board”.

ESG and Net Zero Teaching Rank: improved from 84th to 80th place for integrating topics related to ethics, social responsibility, and sustainability into courses.
