The Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano share the opening of applications for doctoral fellowships in the Data2Action project, the MSCA Doctoral Network that combines the world of social innovation with data analytics and artificial intelligence.
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of emerging technologies to generate positive social impact, enabling us to co-create a healthier, more equitable and sustainable world for all.
3 of the 13 PhD candidates will be based at DIG and work on the following topics:
- Embedding Data Science and AI in Social Innovation practice
- Developing Data for Social Economy Investment Model and practice
- Data exploitation as an incentive for participatory social and sustainable innovations for enhancing crowd engagement in transformative ecosystems
The other applicants will be hosted in the network's partner universities and research centers: University of Ghent, Glasgow Caledonian University , Isitututo Jožef Stefan, and University of Dortmund.
