PhD in Management Engineering, Riccardo Mangiaracina is Full Professor at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches “Management of Logistics and Production Systems”, “Logistics Management” and “Digital Business”. At Politecnico di Milano Riccardo is one of the founders of the B2c Logistics Center, Head of scientific research of “Digital B2b”, “B2c eCommerce” and “XR Technologies & Immersive Experience”, “B2b Digital Commerce & Experience”, “Retail Media”.
He is a member of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (AIDI) and author of more than 50 papers published on international journals and conference proceedings, mainly on the subjects of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, B2c and B2b eCommerce.

Ricerca
Riccardo’s main research interests are focused on ICT supporting Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
More in detail, his first area of investigation is logistics in the B2c eCommerce field, with specific attention to last mile delivery from different perspectives: costs, service level and sustainability.
Particular attention is also devoted to logistics solutions supporting digital export, mainly in the American and Chinese markets.
Riccardo is also investigating the opportunities related to the adoption of ICT solutions to support Supply Chain management processes (e.g. order cycle, planning processes).
