Lorenzo Ragazzini is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Manufacturing Group of the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. He joined the group in early 2020 as a research fellow. He earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering in 2024 with a thesis on the exploitation of the predictive capabilities of digital twins for production control. His current research interests focus both on simulation and digital twins of production processes and systems, and on optimization of production planning and control, especially scheduling. He is involved in consulting activities for private companies on modeling and simulation, and redesign of production and logistic systems. He currently also works on the EU project MODUL4R. He is teaching assistant for the courses of Impianti Industriali e Gestione della Produzione and Industrial Technologies.
