Professore Associato

Emanuela Rondi è Professoressa Associata di Strategia e Family Business presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Gestionale della School of Management del Politecnico di Milano. La sua attività di ricerca si concentra sui temi del family business, della governance familiare e imprenditoriale, della convivenza e transizione generazionale e del ruolo delle nuove generazioni nella continuità e trasformazione imprenditoriale delle imprese familiari. È inoltre impegnata in progetti di ricerca internazionali sullo sviluppo delle competenze nei family office e sulla creazione di valore sostenibile nelle famiglie imprenditoriali. I suoi insegnamenti si concentrano sulla gestione delle imprese familiari e l'economia circolare.

Carriera

Prima di entrare a far parte del Politecnico di Milano, Emanuela Rondi ha conseguito un Master in Ingegneria Gestionale e un Dottorato di Ricerca in Management presso la Lancaster University (Regno Unito). Ha iniziato la sua carriera accademica come ricercatrice presso la Libera Università di Bolzano e successivamente ha ricoperto il ruolo di Professore Associato presso il Dipartimento di Management dell'Università di Bergamo.

Ricerca

L’attività di ricerca di Emanuela Rondi si concentra sui temi di strategia e innovazione nelle imprese familiari, nelle famiglie imprenditoriali e nei family office. I suoi studi esaminano come le famiglie che detengono e gestiscono imprese e patrimoni sviluppano strategie di continuità e rinnovamento, affrontando le sfide della governance, della successione generazionale e della trasmissione delle competenze imprenditoriali tra generazioni. I risultati dei suoi lavori sono pubblicati su riviste scientifiche internazionali di alto profilo e contribuiscono al dialogo tra accademia, imprese e istituzioni sul ruolo delle famiglie imprenditoriali nella creazione di valore economico e sociale.


I suoi lavori sono pubblicati su riviste scientifiche di primo livello, tra cui Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Family Business Strategy e Strategic Organization. Emanuela Rondi svolge un’intensa attività di servizio alla comunità scientifica e professionale nel campo delle imprese familiari e dei family office. È Chair del Programma Research and Development e Board Member di IFERA – International Family Enterprise Research Academy. Coordinatrice Accademica della comunità Next Gen di Family Business Network International (FBNi).


È inoltre Coordinatrice della ricerca internazionale dell’Osservatorio Family Office del Politecnico di Milano, membro del comitato scientifico del Centre for Young and Family Enterprises (CYFE) dell'Università degli Studi di Bergamo (Italia), affiliata al Centre for Family Business Management della Libera Università di Bolzano (Italia) e membro dello Scientific Advisory Board dell’International Family Enterprise Centre della Taylor’s University (Malesia).
