Elia Rigamonti, who graduated in Management Engineering in 2021 and obtained a PhD in 2024 from the Politecnico di Milano, is a post-doctoral researcher for the Osservatorio HR Innovation Practice at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering. His research focuses on Human Resource Management and the digitalization of organizational processes, with a focus on HR Analytics, Generation Z, and AI tools to support employees and HR departments. Since 2021, he has been teaching different courses for the

urthermore, he has also been an active member of the "People Analytics and Employee Wellbeing Joint Research Platform", a research center dedicated to studying worker well-being and supporting companies in developing HR Analytics practices and capabilities. Since 2021, he has been teaching different courses for the bachelor's and master's degree programs in Management Engineering (e.g., Business Process Reengineering, Project Management, Leadership and Innovation) and the School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano (e.g., Organizational Design, People Management, HR Analytics).

Ricerca

Elia Rigamonti is dedicated to researching innovation in Human Resource Management and the digitalization of business processes.


In his early years of research, his studies focused on the development of HR Analytics solutions within organizations and the use of data and advanced technologies within HR departments.


In recent years, he has devoted greater attention to the evolution of the values and needs of workers in the new generations (e.g., Generation Z) and the use of digital technologies (e.g., Generative AI) within specific HR processes, considering their effects on HR departments, workers, and the labor market.
